The original Teal Sound logo carries with it a unique piece of history, inspired by none other than the iconic 1980s rap group Public Enemy. Though the exact image has been elusive in our searches, its influence remains etched in the foundation of our corps’ identity. Fast forward to 2004, when the logo underwent a remarkable transformation, thanks to the vision and talent of John Pittman. His redesign not only modernized the look of Teal Sound but elevated us to new heights, visually reinforcing our identity and brand. It was more than just a refresh—it was a turning point that gave the corps a bold, unmistakable presence. For this, we owe a BIG thank you to John Pittman for shaping a logo that continues to resonate with our legacy and the spirit of Teal Sound.
